Knucker had to work hard, very hard, to keep from bursting into laughter. He watched Bri with grave seriousness, "We were thinking of calling it Shakira if it's a girl, Eminem if it's a boy."
An odd roaring noise filled Bri's ears. This wasn't possible. It was just...too weird. She opened her mouth to respond, but all that came out was a strangled squeak. The cave lurched a bit around her, she had to sit down...or she'd fall down... Leaning heavily against Jeremy, she stuttered "You're...like....a woman now?" Grandma? Kinon did not just say that. She must have misheard. This was not possible!

Kinon couldn't help it he almost let out a laugh and disguised it as a roaring sneeze. He lifted a claw to wipe his nose and then looked to Jer and Bri. "Well... Xenis want's to name it Shakira or Eminem.... but I rather like Butch or Ralph if it is a boy but if it is a girl I like Pansy or Daisy Boo!" he sounded immensely proud of his naming skills and his tail twitched.
"I... wait wait... how..." Jeremy shook his head, holding out a hand to stop the two of them but to his dismay Kinon continued.
"But I think we can come to an agreement. Maybe Butchemin if its a boy and Shakiansy if it's a girl! A mix of the names! Or maybe Eminem Ralph if it's a boy and Pansy Shakira if it's a girl!" he was chuckling softly, he was and he tried to stop it by speaking a bit faster, trying to be excited. Then he controlled his face. "Please tell us that you're happy for us! We're dong Dragon kind a favor." he paused then couldn't help adding, "I'm just so glad that we came to an agreement so quickly. If neither of us had wished to change gender then it would have been quite a problem."
Jeremy was a bit unsteady himself, attempting to wrap his mind around it all and when Bri leaned against him it off balenced Jeremy sending him into the wall, which he leaned against, trying to push himself up. "Uh..."
That was Jer for you, always coming up with intelligent answers and comments....

Bri twisted out of her position on top of Jeremy, sliding down the wall to put her head between her legs. She really had no words for this. She agreed with Jeremy with a slight, high-pitched "Uuh" of her own.
Knucker watched the two of them, suppressing, unsuccessfully, laughter. A bit of amusement echoed across his mental link with Bri.
Bri caught the spot of amusement, like a little light in her mind, and jerked her head up, glaring at the dragon's accusingly. "Wait a minute, you planned this!"
"Noooooo!" Knucker denied with amusement.
"No, you've been like, totally planning this!" She accused, narrowing her eyes.
Knucker gave up. He roared with laughter, shooting her a dragonish grin as his amusement rebounded across the link.
She narrowed her eyes at him, stubbornly refusing to give in to the laughter bubbling up in her chest.

Kinon was a bit better at hiding amusement over the mental link but as soon as Knucker roared with laughter he let loose too, letting out a booming howl of amusement. His tail thrashed about and he snaked his neck towards Knucker. "Oh... Oh my sweet Xenis!" He stuttered through his boughts of amusement. "What shall we do? Th-They don't seem to believe us!" the last word rose in pitch as he snorted gleefully.
Jer had been working it through his mind as well, the slight twitch of the lips, the amusement in Kinon's eyes. It... it had to be... but Bri beat him too it and Jer found his legs, standing stright again, face a mix of emotions. "That's not funny! I... you guys!" He couldn't put it into words. This annoyance, the worry, the shock, the amazement. He grasped Bri's wrist to steady her as best she could. The laughter and amusement that shuddered across his mental link with Kinon had him stumbling back one step. "You... You two..." the growl came out half angry and half amused, despite himself. It was a cruel trick they had played and so he yanked on Bri's wrist. "I can't believe you two!" and he attempted to get Bri to follow him.
It had been a joke, therefore their dragons wished to see their reactions, see how exactly they would respond. He wasn't about to let them get more amusement out of his expressions or words. He began to climb up and out of the cave, trying to get Bri to follow him without words, gently tugging on her wrist as he climbed up one handed.
"Oh come now Grandpa." raucous laughter and then Jer shut the mental connection, like he were slamming a door shut, cutting off anything else Kinon were about to say.

Bri allowed Jer to tug her out of the cave, stuffing laughter down in her throat, unsure if he was actually mad or not. She had very little experience with angry men, except for the guys at school, but then they had been yelling at HER so she had just fled. She trotted along after him, casting a half-grin over her shoulder at Knucker, who responded to her amusement with another bout of laughter.
"Weird Dragon." She muttered, feigning exasperation.
"But only think of how boring your life would be without me."
"Yeah, I might actually be in class, getting a degree." She muttered.
He only responded with laughter. Once outside, she bit her lip, ducking her head to hide her eyes behind her bangs, shielding the amusement sparkling in them, until she was sure if Jeremy was mad or not. She finally gave up and gave a small laugh of her own, before clapping her hand over her mouth, meeting his gaze, unable to hide the amusement lighting her brown eyes.

He was mad but he was also fighting with his own amusement. When they were finally outside of the cave and on the small road above he snorted softly. She was obviously amused, he could see that as she let out a small laugh and then tried to hide it. He furrowed his brow and then reached for her wrist again, pulling her along behind him and as far away from the cave as he could. He stopped just outside of the town and breathed heavily through his nose, composing himself before turning to her, dropping her wrist, brows furrowing again as he thought.
He had to admit. It was funny. Their dragons had pranked them very well. He also admitted that he had been utterly fooled for a moment. There were so many things about dragons that he didn't know, so what Kinon and Knucker had told them could have very well been true. He tilted his head as he thought, still not speaking to Bri, though he was looking at her. His eyes narrowed a bit and he pursed his lips as he continued to think, silently, to himself.
What they had said could very well been true. He'd have to ask later when he wasn't pretending to be utterly steamed about the whole thing. He'd also have to ask them about how dragons chose names and perhaps how many eggs were normal in a clutch, when they hatched.... and maybe he would ask about if dragons could tell the gender of the hatchling before the egg was laid or maybe after it was laid? No... Nono don't think about those things right now.
Then he suddenly spoke, face clearing. "Knucker is a bad influence on Kinon. And he's also a bad influence on me." he turned away from Brianna and started walking, shoving his hands in his pockets. "We need to get back at them." he stated it simply, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Revenge if you will. Their's was hastily thrown together. But ours. Ours will be thought out and well planned, believable." He turned into the town, wrapped up in his thoughts as he walked the familiar streets, passing a small grocery store, a gas station and a few larger stores for clothing and one for furnature. His goal, though, was the green park just ahead, the benches by the fountain. A nice place to sit, think and plot.

Bri flushed a bit under his gaze, hiding her eyes with her bangs again and rocking back on her heels, watching from between her red bangs, unusually curling from having air dried after being in salt-water. She knew that look, she'd seen it on her cousin Nick and Knucker. He was plotting.
When he finally spoke, she relaxed a bit, her Jaw relaxing, she hadn't even noticed she'd tensed it. She laughed at his comment, "Yeah, well, Knucker's a bad influence on most people." She pondered his statement, "Revenge sounds like a fantastic idea." But what would really freak Knucker out? She rolled the idea around in her head, falling in step beside him. She paused on their way towards the park, tugging on his elbow and pointing towards a little funnel cake stand. (Never seen one of those outside of the fair, but I don't care.) "Ooh look! Let's get one!" She smiled up at him, digging around in her pockets for some money before realizing she was still in her bathing suit and board shorts, and had no pockets. She slipped her hand into a pocket on her duffel bag grabbing a few bills. Yes, she had just eaten top ramen only an hour before, but she wasn't the sort to pass up a good funnel cake stand. She quickly ducked inside the shop.
"A small one with whip cream and strawberries please." She asked the man, before twisting to see if Jeremy had followed. She should really get out of the habit of dashing off after the nearest dessert shop...

Well it would have been a nice place to sit, really it would have... but Jeremy was tugged gently in a different direction, much to his bewilderment. He stumbled once, his hand pulling free of his pocket to grab at her arm as he whirled to follow her. His plotting forgotten for the moment Jeremy's face slide into one of silent amusement, eyebrows raised he followed her into the small shop.
He saw her patting her swimsuit, apparently trying to find her money and he gave a small sigh, reaching for his own wallet. He really didn't want to spend money on such frivolities. They didn't need them and they should really save their money for other things. He wanted to stop at a camping store to pick up a water purifier, now that he thought about it. Jeremy shook his head, ridding himself of such thoughts, later, he told himself, he'd think about it all later. He opened his wallet and was about to pull out a $10 for her when she brought out her own cash. Well... ok then. He looked at the menu and pursed his lips at the prices. Yeah, he didn't need one.
Jeremy slowly slide his wallet back into his pocket as Bri turned to look at him. He shrugged at her, thinking the look she gave him to be one of questioning. "No thanks. I don't want any." he offered her a small smile and shrugged again.

Bri grinned at him, payed the man behind the counter, grabbed a fork and cut a piece of funnel cake off, popping it in her mouth with a strawberry and a bit of whip cream. Probably not the wisest thing to spend her money on, but you only live once, right? Right. "All right, let's go." She gestured for him to lead the way, taking another bite of funnel cake and whip cream.
"So. What else will we need?" She asked, thinking of the times she had gone camping with her parents. When she camped with her family, they had used a tent, but tents were expensive and that's what they made dragons for, right? The few times she'd gone overnight with Knucker, they'd slept underwater. But that wouldn't work with Jeremy and Kinon there, the whole drowning thing and all that... She mused as she walked, taking another bite of her funnel cake and thoroughly enjoying the unhealthy-ness of it. "Sure you don't want some?" She asked Jeremy.
She reflected on the events of the last few days and twitched a smile, giggling again. Pink pants and pregnant male dragons. Life wasn't going to be boring, was it?

He tilted his head as she ate and he guided her out of the store into the bright busy street. "We need to get some more supplies. I guess we could always run back to my dorm and pick up some other stuff. I forgot my sleeping bag and water purifier there...." he glanced over to her hopefully. He didn't really want to go back to his dorm at all... but he didn't want to spend the money on brand new items either... not when the items back at the dorm were practically new. He'd only used them once or twice... "We could even snatch some more food from Terrance before he gets home." he slid his eyes to her unhealthy food and smirked. "Perhaps even oreos?" he offered, as if that might entice her back to his home. Jeremy winced at that thought and corrected himself. No, it was no longer his home. And it wouldn't be for a long time. At least not until all this was settled down. ((choo suck... Now I have to post a list here of the items Jer packed so we can keep a basic idea of what we have. LINK TO LIST))

Bri was reluctant to go within a ten mile radius of Terrance, but...Oreos. Mmm. Chocolate. "Fine." She sighed, as if it were a hard decision, "Sleeping bag, water purifier, Oreo's." She stuffed another bite of funnel cake into her mouth.
Oh, sleeping bag. "I suppose I should grab a hold of a sleeping bag too." She frowned, they were kind of expensive though. "Although, most often I just crash underwater with Knucker, which seems like a smashing way to ruin a perfectly good sleeping bag, so maybe not." She shrugged, and glanced up, silently asking for his opinion. He was much better at this whole adventuring thing than she was, her idea of camping was 'Let's go to a lake with hook-ups and electricity in the motor home.'
She followed him to the apartment, finishing her funnel cake in time to stuff it in a trash can outside of the college.

(OK plz to be skipping tyme yes)
When they returned to the dorm room Jer looked around anxiously for Terrance and then scooted inside, grabbing a couple of bags and filling them with more canned goods and he waved a box of oreos at Brianna before stuffing them inside. A can opener was tossed in the bag some water proof matches and then he set the bags down and went into his room. When he returned he had a sleeping bag under one arm and a water purifier in his other hand. He strapped the sleeping bag to one of the bags crudely by tying it with some string and then hefted one heavy bag onto his shoulders. He grunted softly and hefted the other bag into his arms. "Alright let's head out." one last look of sadness and he walked out the door, this would really be the last time...
When they reached the cave Jeremy paused and scowled. He didn't want to face Kinon just yet so he unloaded the bags off the side of the road behind a pile of rocks. A curious grunt came from the cave and a white nose poked out, sniffing at the air. Jer kept his mental connection firmly shut and turned to Bri, ignoring the nose that was questing farther and farther from the cave. "Let's go shopping. There are some things we need to pick up. I've been thinking about your sleeping bag issue. We aren't going to be near water at all times. However I don't think we'll have to venture anywhere cold... worse comes to worse we can pick you up a cheap one at a Wal*mart or something in the states." he said. The nose twitched and as the sky blue eyes of Kinon came into view Jer lightly grabbed Brianna's arm, hooking them at the elbows. He turned his back on the dragon and guided her gently into the town, saying lightly. "We can have some fun, just the two of us!" this was said, perhaps, a little louder then it needed to be, obviously carrying to the white air dragon, who watched them leave in silence.
"You are an ass..." the comment was aimed at Jeremy, though the connection stayed firmly shut. Kinon could have battered it down, it would probably be extremely hard though, he'd never tried to break a closed connection open before. Well he'd never had to try. "A real ass." But there was a glimmer of amusement in the words as the dragon drew his head back into the cave.

Bri followed Jeremy, jogging to keep up with his long strides. She followed him down towards the cave, red hair bouncing behind her, slightly frizzy from drying after being dipped in salt water and air dried. "Knucker!" She yelled, mentally, as soon as she got within range.
"Back all ready?"
"Yeah!" She watched Jer hide the stuff, and Kinon poke his nose out. "Oh wait, never mind, we're leaving. Shopping apparently. I need a sleeping bag-" She cut off her mental story to listen to Jeremy.
"Ah, sharing with Jeremy?" Knucker asked, sounding amused.
Bri blushed, even while Jeremy was talking, and shot Knucker the mental equivalent of a scowl. She jumped when Jeremy grabbed her by the elbows. "Bye." She called to Knucker silently.
"Get me some Pickles and Ice Cream would you?"
"What?!"
"We expectant mothers have the most random cravings."
Bri snorted and almost tripped, bursting into laughter. She stuffed her laughter, but felt it threatening to burst out again. She twisted around to glance at Jeremy as he towed her along, and erupted into laughter again, tears swimming in her eyes as she glanced up at Jeremy helplessly, trying to find space to breath so that she could explain.

They had just entered the town when Brianna burst into laughter, startling the poor boy so bad that he let go of her arm to look at her. "What is the matter?" he asked, looking at her with curiosity overpowering his initial shock. She was laughing but there were tears beginning to brim in her eyes. Jeremy wasn't sure wether to step back and give her room or grab Brianna by her shoulders to steady her. He decided that a hand placed lightly on her shoulder would be the best course of action. He did so hesitantly, as though about to touch someone who was diseased.
But he didn't know of any quick striking infectious disease that caused laughter at tears... or rather, he corrected himself, tears at laughter.... "Or maybe... it caused crying laughter... laughing tears... no wait." Now he was just confusing himself.
The poor boy was probably confusing Brianna as well, considering he had just spoken out loud.

Bri took another gasp, pressing her arm against her stomach, straightening. She giggled again when he hesitantly touched her shoulder, they way her mother had when trying to comfort her about having the flu when she was a kid. 'I'm sorry sweet heart, I would hug you, but...' She listened to him try to figure out what on earth was going on as she calmed herself, biting her lower lip. "Laughing. You know..." She tried to find the words to explain, "You've never laughed until you cried?" She asked, curious. "My Dad and I did when we watched my Mom try to learn to water-ski..." Her voice trailed off, she probably wasn't explaining things well. She cleared her throat, still grinning a bit.
"Just...Knucker." She said by way of explanation, as if that explained everything. Which it pretty much did. "He was...ah-" She began to relay the whole 'pregnant cravings' thing, but stopped, wondering if Jeremy was still mad about it. She smiled, "He was just being Knucker." She smiled again, her eyes dancing with restrained laughter, it hadn't been that funny, really, the pickles and ice cream thing, but if she didn't laugh she would blush and babble about the sleeping bag comment, this seemed like a safer course of action. Apparently not.
"Yeah...so...shopping? She asked.
